Material Handeling
A bin activator is a device used to facilitate the flow of bulk solids or powders out of storage containers like silos, hoppers, and bins. The bin activator typically consists of a vibrating motor, a flexible rubber sleeve, and a steel cone. The vibrating motor generates vibrations that are transmitted to the steel cone. These vibrations help break apart any compacted material and prevent issues like bridging and rat-holing. The flexible rubber sleeve isolates the vibrations from the bin itself, ensuring that only the material is affected. This helps maintain a consistent flow of material out of the container.
