TheElastomer Mount is a standard industrial component used for shock absorption, vibration damping, and vibration isolation between equipment and its supporting structure in both rotating and stationary machinery. The component consists of an elastomeric (rubber) core positioned between two metal plates, a top plate with a stepped center and axial bore for connection to a shaft or upstream equipment, and two side lugs with bolt holes for fixed mounting onto a foundation or chassis.

Operation is based on the inherent elasticity of the elastomer material: dynamic loads, shock impacts, and vibrations generated by rotating equipment (such as motors, gearboxes, and compressors) are absorbed and damped by the rubber core, preventing their transmission to the main structure or adjacent equipment.
